The music composer for the PS2-exclusive RPG Dragon Quest VIII commented yesterday that it will be released by the end of 2004, despite Square Enix's official statement that it will be released sometime this winter.
Kouichi Sugiyama commented yesterday on the alleged holiday release of 2004. "Things are going to get busy since I'll have to begin converting the compositions into data for Dragon Quest VIII, which is going to be released during the year," Sugiyama said in front of a concert audience. This was responded by a round of applause.
However, this is merely the release date for the Japanese version. The RPG will hit North America sometime in 2005. Source: Gamespot
